Techno, Beyond Sound

A thesis on techno, from Detroit to Berlin.

This thesis delves into the rich and evolving world of techno music — from its underground roots in Detroit to its cultural emergence in Berlin and its global diffusion. As part of my degree, I was responsible for the layout design, photo editing and part of the writing.

The project merged editorial design, visual storytelling and image treatment into a cohesive, immersive publication exploring the sociocultural evolution of techno, its visual aesthetic, its impact on club culture and its fusion with contemporary visual arts.
